Glass India Documentary – Life Inside A Glass Factory In India

Directed by Norman Faulkner and Marie De Roy in 1991, this film depicts life inside a glass factory in India, focusing on the workers, the whole-process of glass making and most importantly, the conditions they perform their work in. They wear no gloves to protect themselves from sharp edges and nor do they cover their eyes to save themselves from the dust. Here’s hoping things have changed for the better since then.
